The Consultation

Every great portrait starts with a consultation.  For us to create the image you want, and more, we need to get to know you a bit.  As well, you need to get to know us.  Being comfortable with your photographers is key to the creation of amazing portraits.  We want our time together to be as productive and creative as possible.  Therefore, every session is preceded by a consultation.

The Creation Session

During the creation session, which is almost always in our studio, we work with you, usually starting with a few easy and relaxed poses to get you used to the camera and big lights.  As you become more relaxed, the images reflect back what you are feeling.  A usual session lasts between 1 1/2 to 2 hours.  Having said that, each session is unique and we never book more than 2 sessions a day.

Who will be there?

Brian is our main studio photographer and is always assisted by his wife, Cindy.  Oftentimes, an assistant (also a qualifed photographer) will be present.  Brian’s main focus is to ensure that the lighting matches the mood and feel of what we are creating.  Cindy’s role is equally as important, making sure that you are in the right position, looking in the right direction, that every detail is perfect.  Our assistant, Kimmy, is an integral part of this equation, assisting with everything from lighting to posing.
